There is rarely an instance when police will protect protesters against ICE raids. This is another example:
Dozens of NYPD officers helped clear a path for federal law enforcement in Lower Manhattan on Saturday afternoon, arresting and pepper-spraying demonstrators—and themselves—so that a caravan of unmarked vans carrying masked federal agents could drive out of a parking garage and depart west on Canal Street.
Federal immigration enforcement officials called off a planned raid on Canal Street today shortly before it was slated to begin. New Yorkers who heard about the raid showed up at the garage where the feds had gathered, and as federal agents tried to leave, the NYPD cleared the way for them.
What do you if you involved in a sex scandal and are running a collapsing economy, and you are a tyrant? You wag-the-dog, start a war abroad, or commit some war-like act. That’s what Trump is doing in the case of Venezuela with his threats to bomb that country.
In addition to bolstering Trump’s strongman bona fides, such aggressive rhetoric is also a perfect vehicle for the president to drive the news cycle and to distract the American people. It feels like a decades-old cliche to talk about wagging the dog, but certainly, an attack on Venezuela would wag the dog.

Trump is posting photos of his love fest with Mamdani while MAGA is melting down online over the meeting. It’s just too funny. The Republicans are in complete shambles! pic.twitter.com/CY5a0ioJQl
President Trump warmed to New York Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani, even declaring he would finally feel comfortable moving back to the city with the 34-year-old democratic socialist running city hall. “I want him to do a great job, and we’ll help him do a great job,” Trump said.… pic.twitter.com/ffM7ZHEktx
MBS had a journalist who was a U.S. resident murdered. Trump could care less, and even defames the victim:
BREAKING: The Washington Post unleashes a scathing takedown of Trump after he smeared their murdered journalist Jamal Khashoggi during a playdate with the brutal Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia.
This is just a taste of what the history books will have to say about Donald…
On his first U.S. visit since the CIA found him responsible for Jamal Khashoggi’s killing, the Saudi crown prince met with Pres. Trump who defended him when pressed on the issue. @marykbruce reports. pic.twitter.com/az5ll03tQc
Now Saudi Arabia has bought a U.S. NATO-like national security agreement. Anything for that Saudi oil-money. Not America-first.

Apparently, Sliwa has a backbone. Which is unusual for a politician:
‘Politics is the dirtiest business there is,’ he said, adding that Adams was ‘so corrupt’ as mayor. The Daily Mail has reached out to Adams’s office for comment. Sliwa previously opened up about the bribe in a profile with The New Yorker , claiming he was offered $10 million across seven offers. He has remained tight-lipped about who tried to bribe him, but was encouraged to step down by several high-profile entities, including President Donald Trump, Republican donor John Catsimatidis, and the editorial board of The New York Post.
Sliwa also claims his life was threatened by people who wanted him out:
Is this America ? Billionaires and their paid social media influencers, legacy media outlets, talking heads and useful idiots are attempting to bully the Republican nominee out of NYC Mayor’s race, while threatening and slandering his voters. Sounds more like communism. pic.twitter.com/cTTm55FBBH
My question is, why didn’t those oligarchs spend millions on Sliwa early on and try to help him win the election. In a 4-way race Democrats would have split the vote which would have let the Republican win the election. We won’t ever know the answer to that question, and the press won’t ask.
Jack Ciattarelli wants to be governor of New Jersey. But apparently he doesn’t want to be governor of all New Jersey citizens. During a rally Ciattarelli’s aide made an ugly comment about Jews. The comment wasn’t denounced by the candidate instead he joked about it:
A top member of Jack Ciattarelli’s inner circle spews antisemitic hate — and Jack’s response? Applause. Not condemnation. Not courage. Just silence and complicity.
The Interview took place 10/31/25 with CBS correspondent Norah O’Donnell:
PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP: Well, first of all, we get along great, and we always really have. We had the COVID moment, which was not– attractive as far as I was concerned. I wasn’t so happy. But outside of that, we have always had a great relationship. He’s a powerful man. He’s a strong man, a very powerful leader.
And– we’ve always– had the best of relationships, probably the best of– I could– I think I could speak for him, just about as good as it gets from his standpoint and from my standpoint. And having that is important because of the power of the two countries.
NORAH O’DONNELL: What did you get out of this deal that you wanted?
PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP: Well, I got sort of everything that we wanted. We got– no rare earth threat. That’s gone, completely gone. We have tremendous amounts of– dollars pouring in– ’cause we have– very big tariffs, almost 50%. We never had anything in terms of tariffs, although I put tariffs on China, but Biden let it lapsed by the– by the fact that he gave exemptions on almost everything, which was just ridiculous.
The dollar had already been under pressure lately. Trump’s reckless economic policies have frightened investors, although not Wall St., yet:
Economist Peter Schiff issued a stark warning on October 26, 2025, about an imminent dollar crisis amid surging gold prices, predicting that gold could reach at least $20,000 per ounce. This alert highlights escalating concerns over U.S. currency devaluation, driven by recent economic pressures that Schiff argues are accelerating beyond prior forecasts.
